Everything in this rack is being moved to the New_new_rack. As this edit is made, the switches, the Dell and IBM servers, and the Sun V20z are all in the replacement.
An old Prime Computer "Peripheral Bay Cabinet" rack is in the process of being populated with FnordNet gear. There's a sticker on the back bearing the serial number (or maybe a model number) CCD 3082.
It has 29Us of available space plus a cavity on the bottom appromximate 8 inches deep. It's an awful brown color. It's an odd depth and has a lot of open space in the bottom instead of a floor to lay things on. Despite this, it works better than the previous Rack -- I can put rackmount rails in it without problem.
