Basic firmware (BIOS/UEFI) settings.

  1. Power on server
  2. Press F2 for System Setup
  3. Enter System BIOS Settings
    1. Memory Settings > System Memory Testing: Enabled
    2. Memory Settings > Memory Operating Mode: Optimizer Mode
    3. Memory Settings > Node Interleaving: Disabled
    4. Memory Settings > Snoop Mode: Early Snoop
    5. Processor Settings > Logical Processor: Enabled

    7. Processor Settings > QPI Link L1 Power Management: Disabled

    7. Network Settings > Use DHCP to Obtain DNS server address: Enabled
    8. Network Settings > Enable IPv6: Enabled

      3. Advanced Controller Properties > Disk Cache for Non-RAID: Disable
      4. Advanced Controller Properties > Auto Import Foreign Config: Disable
      5. Advanced Controller Properties > Boot Mode: Ignore errors
      6. Advanced Controller Properties > Abort Consistency Check on Error: Disabled
  8. Leave Device Settings
  9. Leave System Setup (reboot)
